Ryan A. Mumy, CFP®, AIF®, the founder of Mumy Financial Advisors, LLC, has over 22 years of experience in the financial services industry. Ryan also serves as Chief Executive Officer for Sollinda Capital Management, LLC, an SEC-registered RIA firm that offers a range of wealth management solutions to Financial Advisors, RIA firms, Trust Companies, Family Offices & Institutions. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, an Accredited Investment Fiduciary®.


Ryan has a passion for financial education and literacy which led him to host a weekly radio show called “Your Financial Journey with Ryan Mumy” on 1290 WHKY-AM every Saturday morning from 9:30-10:00AM in the Hickory/Charlotte, NC marketplace. Ryan has appeared on CNBC & other financial news outlets and has been featured in Investment News as well as multiple other key financial industry publications.


Ryan personally manages assets and financial plans for a client base derived mostly of high net worth individuals, corporate retirement plans and institutional investors. He has a passion for actively managing client’s assets as well as ongoing client interaction & education.


Ryan first served as a financial consultant with A. G. Edwards & Sons. He was one of the youngest advisors to ever successfully complete the CFP® certification in A.G. Edwards history. Ryan went on to serve as Chief Investment Officer for Capital Investment Advisory Services, LLC, an SEC-registered RIA firm headquartered in Raleigh, NC before joining Sollinda Capital Management. 


Ryan is a graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne College, where he was a member of the baseball team and served as team co-captain his senior year. He is active in his church congregation and has served as chairman of the finance committee. He also is actively involved in multiple non-profits and founded the Defiance Baseball Endowment to enable the continued participation of children in baseball. He is also an avid outdoorsman and enjoys time at his family’s land.


Ryan and his wife, April, reside in "The Boonies" (Vale, NC) with their two children, Chloe and Logan.

Andrew Rader, CFP®


Andrew serves as the President of Mumy Financial where he oversees day-to-day functioning of the firm. He has experience in planning for both corporate and personal finance. Prior to joining Mumy Financial as a Financial Advisor, Andrew worked for PNC Investments in Western North Carolina. Currently Andrew manages the client relationships for MFA while playing a vital role as Director of Financial Planning for Sollinda Capital Management.

Andrew is a graduate of Appalachian State University where he studied Finance and Banking. Andrew has written articles pertaining to financial planning for younger generations and stresses the importance of starting your adult life on solid financial footing.



Office Manager

Nicole serves as Office Manager for Mumy Financial and is the Chief Operating Officer of Sollinda Capital Management. Nicole has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. She started in the field with A.G. Edwards & Sons, continued her career at Renaissance Financial, and followed Ryan to Mumy Financial Advisors, LLC when it was formed.


Nicole handles many of the day-to-day activities of the branch as well as assisting clients with general inquiries and needs that they may have.


Nicole lives in Taylorsville with her husband, Brian.

Operations Assistant

Brittany serves as an Operations Assistant for Mumy Financial and as the Lead Advisor Advocate for Sollinda Capital Management. Brittany handles many of the day-to-day operations for the office and assistants clients with general inquiries. She has over 14 yrs of experience in the customer service industry, 8 with the team at MFA.


She lives in Hickory, NC with her husband Jake, daughter Kiah, and step-son Easton. On the weekends Brittany enjoys doing projects around the house and playing with her Labradoodle named "Tootles".

Senior Financial Advisor

David has his Series 7, 24, and 66 licenses, as well as his Life, Accident/Health, Variable, Long-Term Care, and Medicare insurance licenses. Before joining Mumy Financial LLC, he worked for both Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch. He has more than 15 years of experience in the financial industry.


Prior to entering the industry David had 25 years of experience in a variety of leadership positions with GE & Information Architects. David has over 30 years' experience in options-oriented trading and hedging strategies, and has written articles and identified trading opportunities for

Brooke Marcum

Operations Assistant

Brooke serves as Operations Specialist for Sollinda Capital Management, LLC where she has gained experience handling investment and trust department operations. Brooke is a graduate of Lenoir Rhyne University, wife to Joey and mother to 3 beautiful children. 

Sara Smith

Operations Assistant

Sara was born and raised in North Carolina and calls Newton home. She is the proud mother of 3 beautiful girls and a new grandson. Sara is active in the local community and serves on the Board of Directors for New Beginnings, Hickory. Sara's caring personality makes her a wonderful addition to the Mumy Financial Team.

Anna Winger, J.D., CFP®

Legal & Financial Advisor @ Sollinda Capital Mgmt

Anna is a founding partner of Heritage Law where she focused her practice on estate planning, probate and business law. Today she works at Sollinda overseeing their Family Office serves to clients interested in multi-generational planning.


In Memory of Frank Bolick

During his time at Mumy Financial, Frank served as Client Relationship and Recruitment Associate by overseeing the overall client experience at Mumy Financial. Frank’s background includes a 32 year career in the financial services industry, culminating with the establishment of Bolick Invest Group, where he was the President and Founder until his retirement in 2015. During Frank’s career as a Financial Advisor, Frank attained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, while also holding the Series 6,7,22,24 & 63 securities licenses.

Frank was heavily involved in the local community where he was the co-owner of Granite Bottling Works in Granite Falls, NC. Frank served on various boards of local community organizations with positions including: president of both the Caldwell County Heart Association and Granite Falls United Way, board member of the American Red Cross, Boy Scouts of America, American Lung Association, Bank of Granite Advisory Board, and Catawba County Senior Nutrition Services. During his career Frank offered financial consulting to battered & abused women through the Domestic Violence Shelter and Service organization.
